Swiss Weather collects only the weather data needed to display forecasts. No personal data is collected or stored. Your location is used solely with your consent, to show the nearest municipality.
2. Use of data
Weather data is used only to display the forecast. Some data is cached locally in your browser to improve performance and reduce data usage; that cache clears automatically after about fifteen minutes.

4. Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to tailor ads to your interests. You can disable advertising cookies in your browser settings or through Google's ad settings. See Google's privacy policy for details.
5. Third-party data
Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo, a free and open-source service; air quality data comes from the same source. Climate normals are based on open MeteoSwiss data. No personal data is sent to these services.
6. Geolocation
If you allow geolocation, your position is used only to find the nearest Swiss municipality and show its forecast. Your exact position is never stored or transmitted. If you decline, your region may be estimated roughly from your IP address; that information is not stored either.
